"Menucha V’simcha" was born at the Lebhar house.
A family of joyous Moroccans had chazan Chai Kurkos at the table when he introduced the song.
The beat caught on quickly, and within the first stance, it was decided that the song had to become public and be a part of every Shabbat table going forward.
